Elephant Rock Loop

This loop hike follows a portion of the historic Arrowhead Road and leads past odd rock formations.

Start: 54.1 miles northeast of Las Vegas

Distance: 1.3-mile loop with a short cherry stem

Approximate hiking time: 1 hour

Difficulty: Easy due to little elevation change

Trail surface: Dirt and rocks, sand, old road

Best seasons: Fall through spring

Water: None

Other trail users: None

Canine compatibility: Leashed dogs permitted, maximum 6-foot leash

Fees and permits: Entrance fee

Schedule: Open all hours
